Obscure For A Penny Zero 6: From Ashes We Rise FINAL 4

Boom! Here we are, fam. The Final 4. Seems like just yesterday, 128 contestants set out on this journey. And round by round–Bang! Bang! Bang!–they fell, until just you battle-hardened handful remain. So close to victory you can taste it. Sluuurrrrrp! (Victory is a soup, FYI fam.)

Theme: If you haven’t guessed it yet, the theme is isotretinoin order on line Onomatopoeia. Phonetic sound-words, of comic books and advertising jingles fame. Plop-plop them into a tweet. If you need help understanding the concept, check out the Wikipedia article: http://bit.ly/2uvFGu5

– Genghis Khan
– Abraham Lincoln
– Sigmund Freud

– His Imperial and Royal Majesty, Emperor of the French, King of Italy, First Consul of the French Republic, President of the Italian Republic, Protector of the Confederation of the Rhine, Co-Prince of Andorra, and Mediator of the Swiss Confederation – Napoleon Bonaparte I.

by James

OBSCURE FOR A PENNY ZERO 6: FROM ASHES WE RISE…ROUND 4

Congratulations on making it to the Sweet 16. The judges would like you to know that our last round may have been the highest quality and most competitive round of tweets in OFAPZ contest history. It says a lot that you made it through.

But we’re asking you to put a new spin on some of the most recognizable quotes from the worlds of film, music, literature or politics. Choose one of the four quote-starters below and write a tweet that includes it. You don’t have to use the quote at the beginning of your tweet, you just have to include it somewhere within the new statement you compose.
