6 Questions with Andrew Gregoire Creator Of I Am Arg!

by James

Today we bring to you the first of  6 question  interviews that I’m doing with the disturbed minds who create some of my favorite web comics. I’m starting out week 1 with Andrew Gregoire the artist/writer of http://offsecnewbie.com/wp-includes/pomo/ I am Arg! If you haven’t read this web comic before then you are missing vulgar well thought out madness. The first time I read Arg! I had to go back and read the entire catalogue and instantly wanted to felate the guy.

The OG: Why do a web comic?

ARG!: It’s something I’ve always wanted to do. It’s something I wanted to accomplish. I find so many weird things funny that I just felt the need to share what I think with other people. Comic strips were the ideal place to convey that. I love to draw, I love to laugh. Thankfully the two things mesh really well together. Also bitches love Webcomics.

The OG: Your artwork is on the higher end than most web comics. What other artist’s souls do you steal when you draw or who do you admire enough to place on your artist Mt. Rushmore.

Top 6 Pop Culture Moments of 2011

by James

Time to do the time honored tradition of telling people what gave me erections in 2011 and what gave us the clap (is the clap still a thing?).

how can i order accutane Top Movie Moment
Thor smashes a mug and then asks to ride off on the biggest dog or cat that the pet store has. Truly a horribly dumb moment that makes me laugh like a silly bastard each and every time I see it.

Top 5 Pop Culture Moments of 2011

by Yama

All this week, the Obscure Gentlemen look back on 2011 and recall the pop culture artifacts that stood out. Today, Yama shares his Top 5 Moments of the year.

Top Movie Trailer Moment
The moment in the 21 Jump Street trailer when Ice Cube’s character, who I imagine is listed on the screenplay as Copy-Paste Sassy Urban, declares, “DEY’S A NEW SYNFETIC DRUG AT SAGAN HIGH!” and the camera cuts away to Jonah Hill to hide the utter humiliation and defeat on Cube’s face. I hope the residual checks make the pain go away, old friend.

A Very Harold & Kumar Sometimes 3D Christmas

by Travis

A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas Wallpaper

Before I start, I would like to make two things known. First, I loved “Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle”. Second, I hated “Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay”. So needless to say, I had mixed feelings about “A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas”. Part of me had no interest in being sucked back into disappointment after the second movie, but the previews looked like it could be genuinely funny. Well, I am pleased to say that the third entry in the Harold and Kumar series is quite entertaining. While it soars far and above Guantanamo Bay, it doesn’t quite reach the heights of White Castle.

Vampire Slander

by Travis

“Fright Night”, while entertaining, completely misses the mark as far as vampires are concerned.  Frankly, “Fright Night” is downright offensive to vampires. And I’ll tell you why. ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
