Pithampur Last week I was out in California on business and was able to visit my family. While there, I went to In-N-Out Burger with my brothers and fellow Gentlemen Nick and Aaron. One of Aaron’s friends (Nick Delia) also happened to be there and told me that he enjoyed reading the Obscure Gentlemen. It was pretty cool meeting an actual fan of the comic in person for once. Nick’s friend was with him and had a gigantic Afro that took me a back. Of course, since I’m a jerk, I asked Aaron why that guy was looking like an asshole with his comically large hair. Then Aaron told me that it’s because the guy grows it out every two years to donate the hair to Locks of Love (a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the U.S. and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis). After I was updated on what this guy did, of course I felt like a jerk.
