There just aren’t enough math jokes going around! Why should the right halves of our brains get all the fun? This week’s comic is a layered joke, and you gotta know a few things to get it:

1) In a right triangle, the tangent is calculated by dividing the triangle’s sine over its cosine.
2) A good, chiseled tan is something the writer of this comic could only have if he made it in a lab.
3) Some calculators have a function that finds a figure’s tangent. This button is labeled ‘TAN.’

There you have it! If you’ve read this far, you probably got a lot less out of the joke. Sorry for that, old horse! Anyway, it’s cool to finally get my words featured directly in a note-to-readers format on this site! I hope to see and hear more of all of you out there, and I hope you don’t get tired of hearing and seeing more of me! Exclamation points!!!

Give Michael a hand, wont ya? He’s written for (shameless promotion and hype) ALL-NEW Ben 10 dammit!  If you like Mr. Olivier’s contributions to the Gents, keep checking back for more of his work and future announcements concerning him and myself. Now, MATH ON! If that’s even a saying.
