This is so great and so true. Alcatraz is like Grimm. They have so much money to build incredible sets and make up and yet there is so little truly compelling story telling going on. I don’t know if you remember the Eddie Murphy movie The Golden Child but one reviewer described it as travelling 10,000 miles to throw a pie in someone’s face.
Thank god, seems I’m always rooting for the killer these days. So under appreciated. Keep up them killin’s, killer.

It seems to me a sloppy killer/OCD cop crossover would be an ideal pitch for a TV series. It’d take two seasons just for the police to get through the killer’s living room.
