The theme for this round is Australia. The land down under has been iconic for many things, and we want to celebrate its place in the popular imagination with some good-natured fun.
Your tweet doesn’t HAVE to strictly be a statement about Australia, but needs to have some reference to a quintessentially Aussie thing. If you’re a Dad account, you could tweet about your wife getting fed up with your dopey antics while you’re throwing a shrimp on the barbie. Or your wife getting fed up with your dopey antics while you’re forming a Men At Work cover band. Or your wife getting fed up with your dopey antics while you refuse to take off a koala costume in bed. You get the idea. Dadss, they’re so dopey and their long-suffering wives are so fed up!
Examples of Australian references: accents, celebrities, music, movies, food, wildlife, location on a map, time zone differences, QANTAS whatever that is, the fact that they’re a continent and also a country.
Stipulation: Don’t make light of the fires or dead animals just to be edgy. It’s fucked up, and we’re doing this to honor Australia with some kidding around, not kick them while they’re down.
