Thank you to everyone who participated in the LAW round! There were valiant efforts all around, and many creative tweets and laugh out loud moments. So let’s move on to a theme that’s a lot more stimulating and action-packed. A theme of political importance. A topic that stirs emotion, incites drama and the best in the human spirit. One of the most purposeful activities we all engage in every day. That’s right: VIDEO GAMES.

Theme: Write a tweet inspired by the world of video games, e-sports, consoles and titles, gamer culture, and those badass headsets. So badass!

OFAPZ the 13th Round 2

Hey y’all, I’ll be blunt. The judges loved the fuck out of that round! There was tons more knee slappin’ and a lot less head scratchin’ than there’s been in a while. Please take note (or don’t) that our ad exec judge wants everyone to know that there’s no such thing as an “ad exec” (he’s definitely wrong tho). Anyway, moving onto the next round… what do you call 5000 tweeters at the bottom of the ocean? A GOOD START! We’re jumping professions into the cutthroat world of LAW. We want tweets about laws, lawyers, judges, courtrooms, bailiffs, and most of all JOHN LAROQUETTE! Seriously though, be creative and have fun with it!

What’s it been? 5 years since the last OFAPZ? Who’s counting anyway? Well, we have gathered once again to pit the fiercest tweeters against one another in a ruthless, bloodthirsty battle for tweet supremacy. Therefore, let us begin with a theme that will enrage one of our judges — who happens to be an actual Ad executive. This first theme will test your aptitude, push you to the brink of the source wall itself, and maybe even smash you clean out of the multiverse! That’s right, our first theme is Ads. It’s a pretty open theme so tweet conversations with ads, observations, etc. Use real products, fake products, or really fake products — we’re looking at you Wish(.com). IT DOESN’T MATTER! Just have fun with it and take your time. Or don’t take your time. It’s up to you. Pictures and any format or non-format tweets are allowed. We have a lot of new contenders in the arena this time so the key is to just have FUN.
