Now you’ll see people on the internet try and belittle the feelings you have toward an artist of music, of paint, of poetry. They want to tell you who and how you should mourn. Screw them, if Prince or whatever artist moved you in some small way express that. Write, draw, meme, joke, tweet, whatever! I wasn’t a huge Prince fan but the man’s talent is obvious and the way he touched the world with his music cannot be denied. This is what makes me sad. While this is not a Lemmy Kilmister moment for me it’s still sad. A person like this is embedded in pop culture and for that we pay tribute to him. His amazing guitar solos will live on forever
